10 simple things you can do this week to take care of yourself better…

In the hustle and bustle of daily life, it's easy to overlook the simple yet powerful things that can make a significant difference in our well-being.

Below, are 10 ideas to incorporate into your week to set you on the path to a healthier, happier version of yourself! These are not grand overhauls but small, intentional choices that can have a profound impact on your overall well-being:

  1. Wake up 10 minutes earlier. Embrace the gradual return of daylight, as February unfolds into longer, brighter days. Mix in a morning walk, watch the sunrise, take a moment for yourself.

  2. Choose to be alcohol-free on weeknights. Mint tea is a fabulous way to close out dinner/the evening.

  3. Pick a new vegetable or meal to prepare. I have a list of recipe ideas here.

  4. Tackle that house project you’ve been putting off. Maybe you want to clean out your closet or organize a space that doesn’t bring you a sense of calm.

  5. Call your grandparents or someone you haven’t caught up with in a while.

  6. Pack or prepare your lunch for at least 3/5 days.

  7. Take a 20-minute walk daily, morning, lunchtime or evening.

  8. Plan a date, solo or with someone you love! Check out the new Mean Girls or Wonka movie. Go on a coffee and nature walk. Check out that restaurant you’ve been eyeing. You deserve to enjoy life and it doesn’t only have to be on weekends!

  9. Read or journal before bed instead of doom scrolling. Or simply put that phone on airplane mode and out of sight!

  10. Start your day with 3 gratitude’s. When you focus on the good, the good gets better!!!

If you look at what you have in life, you’ll always have more. If you look at what you don’t have in life, you’ll never have enough
