LIFE UPDATE: WHERE HAVE I BEEN?

Hey All!

I’m just on here to give a little Life Update in terms of my feelings, thoughts and actions that have been happening over the past few months.

As some may have noticed (if you follow me on Instagram).. I’ve been taking 5 from the social media world. Why? I just wasn’t feeling as motivated or creative from always being behind a screen, documenting and scrolling.

So what have I been doing? I’ve been focusing on being present – enjoying my family and friend’s company face to face. My family has had a busy few months with a lot of family gatherings and exciting events, which has been SO fun but we are all exhausted! I’m sure many can relate.

My full-time job as an event planner has been hella busy including a lot of travel (no complaints). Life in general has just been BUSY (as most of you probably know – this may be called #adultlife?!) and I’ve been using my limited spare time either straight chilling or being productive and once again, being present!

Since I’ve been MIA for a bit – I’ll dive into some updates I think are worth while sharing!

MY WORKOUT ROUTINE
I signed up for Orangetheory Fitness tried the class once and fell in love. The workouts are killer, but in a good way. I do this 3-4x a week mixed with walk/run outside and hot Pilates at One Tiger Yoga.

GETTING BACK INTO IT
I got back into Dance (I grew up competitively dancing and then was a sports team cheerleader) and it literally lit a spark in my soul. We all have that one outlet that can turn a day around.. and I highly suggest getting back into it/doing more of it!!

UPCOMING TRAVELS
I’m going to Prague in November. Never been and I am so excited – any reco’s, please send my way!

FAMILY FAMILY FAMILY
I’m literally sooo excited to be an aunt. Just over a month + a bit to go! <3

HOW I START MY DAY
Starting my day with room temperature water, lemon and apple cider vinegar has done wonders for my skin and digestion

SMOOTHIE RECIPE
My fave smoothie recipe right now: frozen mango, avo, ginger, almond milk, coconut water, spirulina, chia seeds. DELISH.

I’M STILL IN INFLUENCER!
A lot of fun programs I’m working on with different brands coming up! Stay tuned!

Which leads me to say… I’m not giving up social media permanently (clearly), but reducing my usage of it has been a modification in my life.

–> If you’re feeling stuck creatively, or riddled with stress and anxiety, consider giving up social media for a few days and you just might find that your creativity starts to flow again!
